Glad FT is back up again!

Any idea what the problem was Dan? Seemed like a pretty long outage. About 18 hours duration it looked like?

Guess a glitch on a Sunday there is the worst possible time to occur. Glad to see it is BACK and motoring along just fine now. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Cranky server it seems... John got it to finally reboot; it was taking its sweet time. Sorry about that; it seems to have rebooted itself sometime last night, and then slowed down.

Thanks Dan.

FWIW, not sure it is was working at all until the last half hour. I tried it many times in your "overnight" over about 17-18 hours and all timed out. Several other folks on another board in Asia, Europe, and USA reported the same. Anyway, all seems fine now, and thanks for both your speedy attention this morning there. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Glad it's on-line again, but there might be an issue with the OMNI forum, not all the pages were displayed, and there was a black square blocking some of the columns of the thread information http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/confused.gif

I will try it later, but it is very slowwww

My memory isn't great, but didn't we have a pretty long outage this same weekend last year?

It was a hard night without FT!

MeLike2Travel Jan 20, 2003 10:47 am

Seems to be about 80% of normal speed for me right now. At least something is better than nothing though!

An hour later, generally faster, but UA and Hilton are still pretty pokey.

Happy that is back. I was experiencing trembling due to withdrawal. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Same here!

Webflyer was working fine during the FT outage. Tried connecting through Webflyer, but that too timed out. But I wish some info could have been posted on Webflyer about the FT outage, as it would have saved time (and many attempts) to get through to FT.
Dan, any possibility that when it appears that there may be a prolonged downtime (other then announced maintenance), that some notice could be put on Webflyer?
