HELP !!! lost thread in OMNI - please help

I started a thread related to hooking up a cable box with high speed internet access to a laptop. This thread had some great information that I need to retrieve to make some purchases.

Ive been using the search function and I cant seem to retrieve it, ive used the filter to select all my threads and nothing, Ive searched using keywords cable, tv, and also nothing.... the thread is less than 5 weeks old.

Can someone help me out?

Unfortunately the "SEARCH" function, as it applies to "OMNI" is temporarily dysfunctional, apparently due to the move of the "OMNI" fora from FT Miles to FT Travel in my experience. I trust it will soon be "fixed"!

Gaucho, here's the thread you're looking for:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum...ML/004228.html

It looks like Travel is only showing OMNI posts that started there, in its search. Even though there's only really one OMNI, the search is limiting itself, rather than searchin all OMNI posts...

We'll look into this problem; thanks for the heads up.

dan... even though I know two Survivor 4 threads were started in the Miles Omni, I couldn't get to them via the Travel Omni... so I started a new thread (i.e. 3rd Survivor4 thread) for all the FT Survivor fans. Please don'thate me!

Whenever we can!

Perhaps March, though the schedule is somewhat cramped, is THE month! Sometime soon, in anycase, I hope.

Concerning "lost" threads, has my locked down thread "BYE BYE TO 'OMNI' & 'ONLY RANDY PETERSEN FOR NOW'" addressing these issues that was in the "BUZZ" now also been forever "lost" as well?

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/006510.html

I hope not!

Thanks!

The BYE-BYE to Omni and Only Reandy Petersen is still here. Visit the FlyerTalk Community and you'll see it. Certainly the change is of interest of Community members not a miles topic.

There were problems with having four OMNI's which is part of the reason to combine them to only one forum. It will generate a better track record for posts.
