time incorrect - daylight saving issue?

Displayed time is an hour ahead today. I assume it is due to USA start of daylight saving on Sunday (it is already Sunday here).

It is now Sunday 9 March 2014 on the west coast of the USA, where Internet Brands servers are located.

Time is showing as 11:20 AM PDT

UTC (GMT/Zulu)-time: Sunday, March 9, 2014, 1820

It seems this is currently not an issue, at least here.

testy

Seems to be correct for me now.

GMT+8 but not exactly...

Just made a post and noticed the displayed time was off by an hour. This is the first time that happened to me.

I am on TPE time now (Nov 5, 2017 10:21) but FT shows 9:21.

What gives?

Globaliser Nov 5, 2017 4:27 am

I've got incorrect time stamps on posts made over the past week.

The UK went from GMT+1 to GMT on Sunday 29 October. The time stamp at the bottom of each page now correctly refers to the GMT time.

However, this post - https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...l#post29017752 - is showing for me as having been made on Saturday 4 November at 5:02 pm. That time is incorrect, because the post was made at 4.02 pm GMT.

What I can't now tell is whether the post was showing the correct time when I made it yesterday, because it's not the sort of thing I normally check! But there does seem to be an issue related to the changes from daylight saving time in the northern hemisphere.

lins, you should be all set. Globaliser, you want yours set for GMT, correct?

Yes, please, but that setting is already correct.

I have, however, just discovered that the "DST Correction Option" was set to "always off" (and I have now changed it to "Automatically detect". I'm not sure that can be the complete answer to what happened, though, because prior to our time change from GMT+1 to GMT, I was seeing timestamps correctly set at GMT+1.

Other than posts during the week between European time change weekend and American time change weekend, I think everything seems correct.

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 4:06 pm.
