I do not have big hands nor fingers but absolutely detest the chevron to open up subforums. It works 1 out of 10 times for me if I am lucky.

Indeed. I simply do not know why this simple fix is taking so long.

It's slated to be fixed in the next app update. Hopefully soon.

The process of updating this is a hard-coding issue with a whole separate piece of software, not related to the FT website. That's why app changes take longer; they are supported by a different dev team, and updates are not made ad-hoc, but according to a batch-friendly method of pushing changes out to the app stores.

Unfortunately this is not going to be available on the iPhone or Android app. At some point perhaps there will be a tablet app; but there's currently no schedule for that development. For now, just use the full site on the tablet's mobile browser.

Try reinstalling with the latest update, still not working? Then may be some technical issue I guess.

What are you referring to? Please clarify.

I've been frustrated for months with trying to click the silly little arrow to expand the sub forums. Found out today that it works much better if you swipe left to right over the arrow.

It's still far too small however, and pointless if the view just defaulted to the sub forum list.

Does anyone know how I get my picture to show on the iPhone app? It shows up when I go to my profile on the computer, but isn't showing up next to my posts on FT.

I know it's a really minor thing, so if nobody knows that's fine.

Should just show up automatically. I am not sure how you clear your cache on the iphone but... try that?

I actually got it to work. The FT app shows avatar, not picture. So by making the avatar and picture the same, it shows up.

I'd like to re-visit the issue of announcements not showing anything other than a blank page on the iPhone app and wondering if there is any update on this to if they will show. I ask this as some of the announcements are for a good cause like this one and it would offer more exposure if one could access the announcements as opposed to saying to one's self "I know it won't show so I'll look at it later" and then not do so or forget

But I'm also asking this as a Talkboard member as votes in the Talkboard forum show up with the same blank page as announcements and it's a bit of a pitb to have to go to the main web version of F/t if I need to vote (and if I'm waiting to see how a vote appears to be going before I vote and on the road, it becomes more of a pitb)

This has been reported as "fixed in the next version" by our developer team. We don't have a date for its release yet (the mobile apps are on a totally different development cycle/team than the website).

Is anyone else having the issue currently with either large gaps of blank screen after each post and/or each post missing the last sentence or so of text? Very annoying at the moment.

You're not alone on these issues and it's been reported by numerous members. Now just awaiting a fix but as to how long that wait will be is a different story ;)
