Blocking Users

If I block a user, I know that I won't get notifications about them posting in a thread that I have posted.. But will they still be able to see my profile? How about cases where somebody may be following me around. Is there a way to not let them see my posts?

Thanks ^

I've heard about stalking on FT from other fellow Evangelists and, according to them, it's a tough problem to get rid of and a very long & frustrating process.

If someone has been "stalking" you on FT, I would think the IB admin or Community Director should be able to take prompt and proper action toward such behavior/person.

Shouldn't it?

You can ignore a user so you don't see their activities, they still see you. Its like ignoring a person in a busy room.

FT's vb version allows you some privacy not to be seen if you enable the 'invisible mode' in the options: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/profi...do=editoptions

That way all other users don't see if you are online, what forums you are currently viewing etc. Your profile still shows to every one who is interested to see it.
