Help needed for transition
 
Hi, can somebody take a screenshot of the page where we can find the option to change facebook setting. I couldn't find the 'button'.

Same here. Tried to reset, but says my password is incorrect. Don't have one for here and fb one didn't work either...

Try this:

1. Login to FT via FB as normal
2. Go to MyFlyerTalk http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/usercp.php
3. Go to Edit Email & Password
4. Enter an EMAIL ADDRESS in “New Email Address” AND “Confirm New Email Address” lines (Do NOT enter a password)
5. Hit SAVE CHANGES
6. Go to http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/login.php?do=lostpw and request a temporary password reset
7. Wait for email to arrive and follow instructions to login with new password, then change your password to something permanent.

Thanks a lot for your reply. However, after filling my email address in the "New Email Address" and "Confirm New Email Address" lines and hit "Save Changes", the webpage is redirected to an error page, saying that my password is incorrect. I didn't enter anything on the password lines.

Please kindly advice on what to do=)

^^ Same problem here, when I try to change my [email protected] email address to something else, I get "your password is wrong". I'd like also to convert my FB-linked account to a normal one.

It seems the old password is needed in order to change the email...

Any new hint?

same message here:

The password you have entered does not match your current one. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!

Still no solution for this topic? I cannot convert my account to a normal account and thus I cannot login thru the mobile app ... this is really inconvenient.

Bueller? Bueller? Is this thing on? I've been on this thread for 3 months - is this operation really that hard?

spend most of my time here just browsing anonymously because of this. Can my account please be switched? If I need to be on some kind of "list" (as noted above) please advise...
