Personally I think the way the boards are organized now make sense to me. Seems too much to wade through the way you are proposing.

But the way that is being proposed means there will be far LESS to wade through. If you are after British Airways, you will find it under EITHER Western Europe Airlines OR OneWorld Airlines. If you are after Singapore Airlines, you will find it under both Star Alliance AND South East Asia Airlines.

Under the current syste, if you look in the wrong place, you won't find it, the way that is being proposed means that you can find the forum you want under multiple headings. It will still be the same forum, just listed in multiple places, meaning that no matter where you look you will still find it.

As an example, if I look under Star, will I find the SQ forum? No, I won't.

I think I would consider that this idea is on hold, pending developments mentioned in this thread:

If we can't proceed with a simple trial of images in three fora, I don't think it's realistic to be discussing a much more complex forum re-organisation across all fora at this time. OTBMVMV of course ;)

Seems pretty easy to me if I want to find an airline I would look under the airline forums.
