Town Hall - updates please?
Can we have some updates to the Town Hall, please?
Specific questions: 1) Are there now to be only nine members of TB? Formerly there were always 10. I'd read or heard somewhere that 9 members meant less chance of a tie vote, but that's specious reasoning because motions require a two-thirds majority to pass. (There's a small difference between requiring 7 of 10 votes to pass vs 6 of 9.) 2) Who are the president and vice-president of TB? Since it's been more than one year since their election, isn't it time for a new vote given that TB chose a one-year term for these TB officials? Looking forward to the responses, FewMiles.. |

I was under the impression that Chexfan was the Vice President. With the current president just having finished his 1 year term I suspect they will be having another set of elections pretty soon. Plenty of good new candidates to pick for the role of president IMHO.

Marines are currently over-extended.
Perhaps we could get the Supreme Court to review the election results? They might be able to "correct" the results in some fashion acceptable to Rupert Murdoch. |
