They skipped us again Glen http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Though, another excellent batch of moderators.

Thank you for helping me again keep this thread absolutely on topic ScottC .. that is our important designated role in this new order. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

There may well be more names to be announced yet.

I notice for instance that Air Canada does not have even a single moderator yet, and is as busy or busier than some forums (DL, NW Starwood etc) that now each have FOUR fine appointees. There is a opportunity, unless FewMiles beats us out?

And I notice a new Forum has recently re-opened called "Only Randy Petersen" .. but I guess that one needs no moderator. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Is the 1 year FlyerTalk requirement cast in stone?? </font>
It appears not. One Forum I looked at today had as sole moderator a FT'er who only signed on a few months back. So .... why not go apply! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

You forgot to mention the email that many moderator applicants received last week from me saying that we were still reviewing applicants but that it would be weeks or perhaps a month or so before naming any new moderators - we want to spend time with those that have already been chosen for volunteering their time. Just naming moderators isn't that significant, making it work is. What we learn from this current group of volunteers will help all those who volunteer and are chosen later on. Don't despair, there's still hope.

I agree, the way my application has been handled has been extremely professional, I've been updated in every part of the process. That said, I think the transition to moderation the way it is now has been very smooth, despite a few constant complainers bugging them the current team has been doing an amzing job!

DITTO!!!!

While I do not expect to be named as a moderator (for obvious reasons), I do have to say that Randy has been up front and professional.

I would have to say the same for the volunteer moderators!!!!! PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND IGNORE THE WHINERS!

Ditto here; the FlyerTalk team has been very prompt and professional in responding to my application.
