Just curious - will the content & camaraderie amongst the Indian airline regulars change if the name stays the new name? "A rose by any other name is still a rose".
Cheers. It will still indeed be a rose. (Or possibly a "gulab ka phool" for the regulars. ;) ) |

Cheers. Thanks for asking! Always appreciated an earnest question over a sarcastic retort. |

Cheers. Similarly, the content and camaraderie in our little corner of FT is fantastic. Whether or not we have our preferred name, not much will change. The effect of changing the name back will be to make the members of our forum community happier. That's all. While it may not yield tangible, measurable "improvements," the forum regulars getting their wishes heard will certainly contribute to the positive atmosphere we already have in our forum. |

Agreed, but still better to have a "gulab ka phool" than a "gandae ka phool" though! :p ;)

Any updates on this from the TB members? I hope it gets changed back from I-bA to AoI.
PVDtoDEL, I could not have put it any better:

I've thought about this, and discussed it with the forum mod. I recognize that my decision for consistent forum nomenclature is unpopular with a subset of the forum regulars. I regret that, as I really like folks to be content with decisions. However, I am not going to revert the name as I continue to believe in the reasons for the change that I gave earlier.
I'll go ahead and close this thread now. |
