You know what, it will be a codeshare with easyJet! SWISS will disappear from Suisse Romande and easyJet flights will bear their own and the LX codes! Except maybe the New York and Zurich flights!

So if I am contemplating booking a flight for summer with them - should I rather wait for a good surprise, or hurry up cause it can only be bad ?
Or actually wait since I might regret my booking in 3 weeks ???

Opinions please

If they were to do that, they wouldn’t wait 3 weeks before telling us...

i do agree with most of the comments :
why would one fly swiss from GVA ? how does the product differ from the one easyjet ? (exept fewer routes and schedules)

really curious what they will come with ?
could it really (possibly) be a new longhaul flight ? is that realistic ? where to then??

Hmm...

Perhaps in addition to their recent BoB (sad excuse of a) fondue option, they're announcing a Romandie-geared filets de perches menu item? Or maybe malakoffs? I know I wouldn't say no to a taillé au greubons on my 6am flight to ZRH when returning to DAR.

Would not say no if offered filets de perches or perhaps a nice papet vaudois on my next flight in C or F, but I am afraid it will be much more sobering. Maybe a new lounge in the new East Wing at GVA that is currently being built?! (BTW: when is it supposed to open? 2020?)

It will be one cabin only, BoB only for everyone, obligatory seat reservations, no hand baggage ... to be renamed Swiss Spirit Airlines...

Long haul to the middle east to accommodate the invited corrupt politicians from Geneva (shame on my country and shame on my party) with their families and the summer holidaymakers from those hot countries.

Oh yeah, it must be something to do with the Fête des Vignerons. That would make total sense. Swissair sponsored the Fête des Vignerons à l'époque. You know, I was pretty much responsible for the last one in 1999, but won't be on the staff for the next one. This new team seems to be a closed shop.

Interestingly enough, the link below the YouTube video:

More info: https://www.avions-swiss.ch

might give a hint, but produces an error message

Apparently, they plan the surprise on only one plane
avion in the singular works better.: www.avion-swiss.ch

But no more info in there, except you can sign up to get the news by mail.
