Tim, thanks for listening. :)

great that it is finally addet, but i dont get it why this was not addet in 2004 already when people asked for it.

i did start myself a thread in august 2005 on the same topic and if you do a search there are at least 10 threads which pops up .

some are going back to 2002/03.

As stated in this thread somewhere, there were software limitations that did not allow the feature to be added.

The vBulletin software that FT runs on underwent an upgrade last month that allowed your request to be implemented, as I understand it.

Much, much better than when it started. It is still a bit too much clutter for my eyes, but a decent compromise position.

Thanks for making it happen. :)

Looks like I'm in the minority, but I don't like it at all. Looks very amateurish, IMO, and is distracting.

I think it's great (especially with the addition of the lighter colour and removal of the time).

Thank you very much

it might have something to do with using a different technology solution back then.

Could someone please PM me with the vBulletin settings used to turn this on? I suggested this feature to the admin of another forum I frequent, but their admin wasn't aware of the feature and would like to know how to enable it.

I think it's a great feature to let you know how old the original thread is.

Thanks.
