Nice trick indeed. But how do you make Windows/Internet Explore open the new window MAXIMIZED/full screen every time? Using your trick is helpful, but I always have to re-size the new window for full-screen.

The question is not how long it takes to double click on top. It is how long it takes for the main page to load? Answer depends on what connection speed you have.
Fast connection - who cares
Slow connection - get gray hairs
QL thanks for the navigational trick. I have to continually open new windows to circumvent the proxy server (renewing the page question) and this is really cool.

No - I agree it's a really cool trick - I've always used the right side of the mouse to "open in new window" -

but once that window opens and loads - to resize it is only a click - it doesn't have to reload to resize - so it's so fast, it's not clear to me why that's really an issue? I'm not being critical - I'm trying to figure out what I don't understand..

FlyerTalk has too many intelligent, active participants to remain the same for very long, which is a good thing. It, and other boards that evolve and change, may eventually inspire someone to do a history, along the lines of Stewart Brand's book, "How Buildings Learn." FlyerTalk and its participants are learning.
