Where to review?

Other than TripAdvisor, what is the best place to submit a review of my stay at a Starwood hotel, so that it comes to the attention of Starwood management (and not just the hotel management)?

Well you can submit hotel reviews on here. There's a template for it.

And on the SPG web site itself. That lets you submit reviews. Take your revenge.

Alternatively, first, you could write about your experience here and see if you get any advice from either FTers or the SPG lurkers who are here to help.

Just write to Marriott management, rather than posting elsewhere and hoping they see it.

I am assuming OP is trying to complain? I had to make a serious complaint this summer for a 4P hotel (almost walked at check-in, rooms not prepared at 9pm etc). I called SPG directly and they made the formal complaints to corporate. A couple weeks later I had to call again and write emails to someone in Ireland to complete the refund process.

If you want someone at SPG to know what you have to say, write to them directly. I would not count on any review site, regardless who sponsors it (SPG included), to get the attention I think you are hoping for.

From the posts I've seen here, direct contact with the Lurkers or Customer Care usually gets results. Do expect the hotel to be involved so keep the issue succinct and on point without rambling or emotional statements.

There is an important distinction here that should not be passed over. Pick one or the other, not both.
