Another newbie question, is there a limit how many "GIFT" points you allow? and also is there a limit how many "GIFT" points you can rec'd? i.e. can I get "GIFT" points from multiple SPG member?

never mind, found my answer. Each SPG member can only top-up their account 30K max a year, whether they are purchase by the member his/her-self or someone else gift it to him/her. A member can receive multiple "gift" points, just that the max is still 30K per year.

Now I'm confused.
Can you buy 30K for your self and 30K for a family/ household member and transfer them into one account or can your account only receive 30K a year ( brought or gifted in ) into one account period?

Account to account transfer for family members (same address) are unlimited (as far as I know. The 30K limit is referring to purchase SPG points. Each account can only add up to 30K via purchase, either you pay for it yourself or others purchase it as a gift.

Regarding on William's quote, this is referring to an internal transfer. Transferring Starpoints from one account to another account. As mentioned terms and conditions apply for the internal transfer to be successful.

So it seems that once you have purchased your max allowance, you can still transfer (same address) as many as you want of those and any other points in your account between household accounts, yes?

that is correct. you can transfer back and fore before family members with the same address as much as you want.

Anyone else having issues pulling up the purchase page? Have been waffling but think I actually do have a use for these now and went to buy and it error'd out on me (see below). Hoping it gets fixed before promo expires tomorrow.
I've gotten 2x on all my prior SPG points purchases
