I would love to know.
I just went through the directories for the places where I know I travel. I probably underestimated since I wasn’t going to parse all the Elements, Alofts, and Four Points, let alone an occasional Sheraton.

I actually was surprised at how many Sheratons I’ve stayed at, mostly with my groups and earlier business travel.

i saw this thread yesterday & it made me wonder how many i've actually stayed in....i was going to look up the starwood directory to check but there must be a few hotels where i have stayed that are no longer with spg....

luckily my secretary keeps a list of all my travels & has a spreadsheet with all my air travel & hotel stays since she started working for me in 2004....i had her pull up the hotel list & my spg count is:

sheraton - 48
four points - 31
le méridien - 29
westin - 26
aloft - 21
luxury collection - 20
w - 14
design - 14
st. regis - 13
element - 12
tribute - 1
other - 1

total - 230

there may be a couple more prior to 2004 but i can't be sure....i started traveling extensively for work in 2007 & that's pretty much when i started enrolling in frequent flyer programs....

Going to doubt that since that post was from August 2010.

i think most hotels keep track of their repeat guests....i'm currently at a non-starwood property on my 75th stay & they acknowledged that today by sending a fruit basket & bottle of champagne to my room....

It might be fun when things slow down to count them.

Maybe in March when I (hopefully) will be celebrating my new LT Platinum status. I already have more than enough nights. Just waiting on year 10 Platinum. By then I should have over 600 nights. It would be interesting to see where my travels have taken me.

W Hotels - 7
St Regis - 5
Aloft - 5
Design Hotels - 1
Tribute - 1
Element - 1

Total: 191 give or take a few. (Probably closer to 200 as I know I missed some.)

I counted 6 hotels that are no longer in the Starwood portfolio: Planet Hollywood, Westin Diplomat, LM King Edward, St Regis Shanghai, St Regis Monarch Beach and LM Budapest.

I do tend to frequent hotels with lounges. I only did Design, Tribute and Element thanks to last year's promo.

I tip my hat to you!
If we count Caesars hotels, I can throw in pretty much their entire portfolio in Vegas:

Caesars
Nobu
Harrahs
Ballys
Planet Hollywood
LINQ
Quad (lol, that didn't last)

I've always found these type of threads strange (re: of hotel forum). Who really gives two patooties how many properties a (FT) stranger has stayed at? Literally SMH. Are we into a bigger you know what thing?

If someone said how many/which properties have you stayed at - and what are your thoughts on each - that I would be interested in, because I'm interested in particular feedback. But just a list of properties - eh, not so much.

Cheers

Then feel free to not click. It's these types of threads that keep the SPG forum interesting for me and part of the reason i think there is such an active group of posters here. Many of us just enjoy reading and posting dumb facts about hotels, stay patterns, etc. Plus active posters mean more property reviews and tips too, so it's a win win.

And I didn't keep a record but I think I'm at a little over 100 properties based on my quick flip through the directory.
