Best *A program for Amex points?

Hey everyone. I am looking for some advice. I have 125,000 Amex Points and I am wanting to transfer them into one of my airline accounts, preferably one in *A. Wondered if anyone had thoughts on which would be the best. The options are Continental (joining *A soon), ANA, and Singapore.

I have 60,000 already in my Continental account, and was planning on moving the points into that. Does anyone see any benefit in putting it in either of the other two programs? I wouldn't be using the miles for at least a year or two.

Thanks for your thoughts.

If you don't plan on using them for a year or two, why are you wanting to move them now? I wouldn't send to SQ, that's for sure. I'd go NH or AC.

SQ is the worst. NH and AC are both good - if I had to pick one I'd pick AC, but is there any reason you absolutely must choose now, rather than just hanging on to them?

I've had great experiences with AC, you can get some folks that are not helpful but some that are amazing. Use the ANA award travel booking tool on their website to see what is available to make sure that AC finds everything you do (they're usually pretty adept at it). On my current itin I just booked in C, I have a flight on NZ (yes!), we have two stop overs and a point of turn-around, all for 80k miles (some from MR some from SPG)... pretty cool.

Agree with other posts so far, unless you need to close down your MR acct soon, I would leave them where they are if you dont plan on using them for some time.
I would normally go with the airline that you already have miles in, which in your case is CO. I would caution you though, if you are saving these points for a true first class ticket, CO is not the plan for you. Since they don't offer a true first class cabin, you currently cannot redeem them for first class tix on other skyteam partners (other F class redemption options are available on non-skyteam partners but at ridiculous levels). There is a good chance this will carryover into star alliance.
