BWI *A Lounges
Since United and USAirways closed their lounges at BWI this summer, what options do we have in Pier D?
|
Nothing, AFAIK. Sorry!

a lounge at BWI? HAH!
in all seriousness though, there is nothing at BWI. it is officially a WN stranglehold. |

people think IAD is bad, BWI is a dump. at least IAD has the A concourse...i don't like BWI all that much, and avoid it at all costs.

25 years ago, didn't all the majors have clubs at BWI? If I recall, AA, DL, EA, PI, TW, UA, and AL (US) all had clubs there.

I would have to disagree - BWI is pretty much domestic only (UA) so in terms of domestic flights, I would much rather go thru BWI vs. IAD and the zoo it can be! Granted IAD has many more options, but if I'm flying domestic, i.e. LAX or ORD, BWI seems like a better choice...Plus who wants to ride a moon shuttle to their gate? BWI has less traffic, faster check in and security lines (yes even faster than IAD's elite line) and less people. How can you say BWI is a dump? In terms of the OP, I apologize for off topic reply in advance.
But I have to admit I do miss the RCC, the ladies were always nice to me and my wife when I actually did get there with enough time to enjoy it. Later, SC ---------------- Now playing: Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - Pride And Joy via FoxyTunes |
