As a regular flier with Star Alliance airlines (BD*G) I was disappointed with my experience checking in with TAP at Heathrow. The queue for the business / fast bag drop took 15 minutes. My bag was not given a priority baggage label. When I asked where the lounge was I was told that Gold Star Alliance members flying in economy were not permitted to use the lounge.
This is not a great Star Alliance experience. I think that TAP staff should receive some retraining. |
The reason they didn't want you in the lounge was because TAP gets charged every time their passengers use the lounge. So they saved $20 :rolleyes:

Of course there is always the LH lounge where BP + *G card should be enough. |
