Use the calculator for each segment, then consider your future travel.

-->Need advice on which *A FF scheme to join? - please post here
With a new ffp also consider expiry--> Miles/Points that Do and Don't Expire
UA ff miles do not expire.
As from your profile you live in USA. earning ff miles from non flying activities, would be easy with UA

Thanks for that info, I do have about 30k in points with UA but was wanting to see if going with Turkish or AC would be the better option to build as I can transfer miles with a few CC I have, And I know UA did a bit of a devaluation on miles not too long ago. I've narrowed it down to those two as my preferred while doing this Euro holiday. I do plan on going back to Europe this fall/winter in biz. when the EPL and Ligue 1 start so im thinking of doing future purchase with TA or AC onwards going forward.

If you are planning to use the new programme for the longer term and trips to Europe, please be aware that there are quite a lot of Lufthansa group booking classes that credit zero to Turkish but they do credit to Air Canada and relatively generously compared to Lufthansa crediting anywhere else. LH policy covers Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, Brussels, LOT and Croatia although Austrian & Swiss do credit in some places that mainline doesn't. .

Great info, I have used LH to fly to Africa and Europe while i was in school. I think i could use a slider to lower my ticket price that all I ever did, and been avoiding them for a while as they were cheaper options if I did layover with LH during this trip. Thank you for making me aware of the LH holdings I will note that for future travels. I think with TA and AC i will use that credit site and the best option for my miles. Since my hub is DFW (AA territory) I can route out Houston to get the most bang for my buck.
