Check through baggage on mix of AC/NH paid and awards

I have an interesting itinerary coming up. It looks like the following:

Aug 23:
YYZ-ORD: AC503. 08:45 to 09:34. (K)
ORD-NRT: NH11. 11:20 to 14:20 +1. (O)

Sept 2:
HND-LAX: NH106. 22:55 to 16:45. (O)
LAX-YYZ. AC788. 22:15 to 05:52. (I)

As you can see, I have one revenue segment and three award segments. The two NH segments are on the same PNR but the AC ones are both individual, so that's three different tickets.

My question is whether I'll be able to have them check through a bag so I don't need to go to the baggage claim in ORD and grab it and then re-check it on NH, and the same for LAX. I'm not concerned about the effort, but I'm concerned that there might not be enough time to do that with the ORD connection, especially if there's a delay.

If it is possible, how do I let AC know that I'm continuing onward and hopefully have them transfer the bag correctly? Also, is there any complication with respect to baggage costs? I'm assuming since it's free on every other carrier I'd just pay the $27 for the YYZ-ORD flight.

AC in YYZ is under no obligation to check your luggage through. K on AC is a Tango Plus fare which does include 1 free checked bag so you might get lucky having a nice check-in agent who does interline your baggage which should then go to Tokyo since you preclear US customs at YYZ. Be nice and try but if they say no they're still right.
If they do say yes you will show them your printed itinerary for the next flight with PNR code. The time between the two flights is not enough for my comfort zone. I'd fly in the night before or if possible have at least 4 hours between flights.

You'll have to get your luggage at LAX either way as you do so at entry into the US. Ideally it would be tagged to YYZ so you can just drop it off for handling but if not you'll have to go to AC to check it in before heading to security.

Outbound they will check your bag all the way, just show both tickets when checking in.
Return, you will have to claim your bag at LAX for US customs, and re-check anyway, so it does not really matter.
