Right now I dont' qualify as I'm only going to be a UA 1P in 2004, so I'm not saying that to boost myself up - indeed I'd stay as *G, but I certainly agree the need for one is there and would be nice.
As for the long mooted LH "Black Card" level... yeah yeah.. believe it when I see it. I wonder though since LH is such a major part of Star, that that is what is holding things up w.r.t. a *P level.... will be interesting to watch. ------------------ RichardMEL, UA 1K A Star Alliance Member. |

Is the platinum level maybe like the Eurobonus Pandion level (some supertier for which you cannot apply, but must be granted by SAS)

Senator lounges are ok in my experience. In the past few weeks I have been to them in MUC, VIE and FRA.
I agree that FRA is not the greatest but MUC is nice and new. Weissbier on tap as well. The food options are good. VIE is quite nice as well. One major complaint at FRA and MUC is that there are no free phone calls to log on or internet, unless I didn't look carefully. VIE has both. Compared to RCC the LH lounges are outstanding. |
