Thanks for all your replies, I had the feeling that TG might have been the recommended.

Fortunately, or unfortunately (time will tell) my waitlist on Lauda cleared so I will be flying them for the first time. But I ahve some short 3 hour sectors on TG so I will be able to see what I missed (or gained!).

Cheers,

Mark

Your waitlist clearing up on NG is definitely a plus. I've flown NG MEL-KUL-VIE on a 777, TG MEL-BKK-FRA on a 747, and LH only FRA-TLV on an A300. Tg wasn't bad, but NG was better.

enjoy Laudas best business class inflight service there is now on any Star-carrier (compares to what AN did on their HKG-SYD flights).

I think he was talking about Y not C.

Peter42:

You said that TG has the best Y service in *...

IMHO SQ beats TG by 000's of miles.

Not IMHO, see my post about SQ's service a while back.

I couldn't agree with you more. SQ Y beats TG Y hands down IMHO. And that's after 12 long-haul flights in TG Y and 23 in SQ Y.
