The TPE routing is quite inefficient.

I might consider the SQ routing via SFO. I see that fare as low as $4078. If you do it, leave lots of time for the connection at SFO.

I personally would avoid SFO, especially if there are good alternatives from LAX.

I love BR but agree with Kacee that routing through TPE is inefficient.
