Booking *A flights for LH using MP
 
Hello all,

I'd like to book a last minute trip to Europe and notice via the UA Awards charts *A offers First Class for 110K each way. Does anyone know how I would book this? I tried calling UA's MP Reservation and they were less then helpful.

The goal is LAX to DBV, June 28th - July 11th. First Class with 450K MP.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

It's very hard to find LH availability. They usually only release F about 2 weeks before, if at all.

LH typically releases F seats beginning at T-14 (that is, 14 days prior to departure), and sometimes just a day or two prior to departure. If it's a relatively simple itinerary, you can book on united.com. Anything complex typically must be called in.

They very rarely release F on LAX-FRA. It's more common to find availability from SEA, DEN, YVR, DFW, ORD, JFK, or IAD. You should do your homework as to which aircraft will be used on a particular flight, as some are much better than others.
