New *A downloadable timetable
I regularly use the downloadable *A timetable as a reference for planning trips, and update regularly. I have noticed that the *A Travel Desk version (Goldenware?) is being replaced by the *A Timetable (Innovata, as used by OneWorld) on August 1st, and the latter is already available to download from Staralliance.com.
I am not sure that it is totally reliable at the moment though, as some flights seem to be missing. Example I have noticed are the MAN-FRA LH flights operated by BMI (wet leased) which still show up on the Goldenware version, but not on the new version. Another example is UA3677 from IAD to STL, again omitted from the new version. Both of these routes I happen to be flying in the next few weeks, hence the reason I noticed them. I am sure there are a lot more like it. I will submit this to Star Alliance, but the moral to the story is, don't rely on the new version for the time being! |
I have found the same.
Flights from NCL to BRU (Again, wetleased by BD) don't show up, the only routing is on LH via DUS. I wonder if it is because the flights are wetleased? It could also be because it says BD on the flight since BD have left *A. |
Would be nice if all airlines (well, Skyteam at least does) had phone apps that allowed for offline access to their flight skeds.

This is terrible. Is there any way to still use the old one? I just got a new computer and downloaded the new one. I have never liked the OneWorld one, especially because all of the codeshares show up a million times and also because you constantly need to reenter the cities.
I tried searching BOS-TLV and it doesn't show any of the connections through FRA and ZRH -- only through EWR and PHI. What's the point? Is there anyway that I can get the old one and still use it? |
I found the old one here:
http://www.goldenware.com/productsDownload.html But, once you install it, it says that it is not being updated after July 31. Anyone know something else? Thanks. |
The PC Timetable Is a Disaster
Totally unreliable.
Frequencies are wrong. Many connections are not included. Went through this the last time when the last version was introduced. Some never learn. |
The new timetable application is difficult to work and it seems to lock up on me pretty often, it's too bad the old TravelDesk isn't being updated anymore.

more timetable issues
the new timetable does not show AV flights; plus it does not recognise next day connections (before 2359 to post 0001). It is a bloody mess. I've flown with star alliance exclusively for years, but I'm thinking of changing to Skyteam.
