Anyone stayed at Bellasera in Naples?

I noticed this development on my last couple of trips to Naples. It seems to be well positioned to take advantage of the restaurants and bars on 5th Avenue and, from the website, it seems to have nice accomodations.

Has anyone stayed there?

I have not stayed there, but a good friend of mine for more than 2 weeks.
They liked it. They have one bed and two bed appartments. It's only one year or so old.
Critic of the restaurant:

The location is fine .. only some minutes to the 5th Avenue South shopping and restaurants.

Two other pretty nice hotels nearby are The Inn on Fifth and Trianon.

And there are two Ritz-Carltons in Naples.

Thanks for the prompt reply!

I'm going to try this property for my upcoming trip in a week or so. The location is convenient for 5th Ave Sth but it's also on the highway fro getting down to Marco or up to the nice shops further up the Tamiami trail.

I've gone for a 2 bed apartment - it cost only a little over $200.

It's around a year since I was in Naples. Have there been any new restaurant openings?

We have lots of restaurants in Naples, 100 or 200+, I don't know ... it depends what you like. Check the above link at Naples Daily News.

I like Caf Lurcat & Campiello. The outside bar/restaurant at RITZ CARLTON (next to the beach) Gumbo Limbo is great and not expensive.
Roy's and Chops in Bonita are very good...don't like Chops on 5th.

Don't miss THE WATERSIDE SHOPS, VENETIAN VILLAGE and THE MIROMAR OUTLET MALL in Bonita/Estero (on I-75).

On my 3 visits to Naples last year, Chops on 5th was my favourite restaurant!

Is the one in bonita much better?

Have not been there .. have even given away a $25-off-voucher. My friends liked the place.
It's actually in Estero, a 1/2 hour+ drive from Naples. If you go there, visit the new Hyatt at Coconut Rd. and the Raptor Golf Club.

Just got back and had a great time at the Bellasera. It's a very nice hotel - not 5 star but extremely well-equipped rooms, an excellent restaurant and a nice pool area.

Naples just gets better, IMHO!

Next time try Restaurant Caf Lurcat, at 2nd floor. I had a great dinner there with friends, excellent food.
