Lounge Access – OK Plus Gold Card holders / SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling in Economy Class can enjoy complimentary access to over 390 SkyTeam partner lounges worldwide. Card holders are allowed to invite a guest to the lounge as well.

Lounge Access: Platinum members enjoy complimentary access to SkyTeam lounges worldwide when traveling on or connecting to a SkyTeam operated international flight. Present your same-day ticket for admission.




The word "international" is missing in the OK rules. Is this the only ST Elite+ that has the benefit of any ticket? Is it observed by all 390 lounges?

The word "international" is not missing, just mentioned in another bit- last paragraph: Almost 390 lounges all around the world are available to the OK Plus Gold Card holders or to all Business Class passengers on the day of travel, when traveling on internationalflights operated by SkyTeam. OK Plus Gold Card holders are permitted to invite 1 guest into the lounge.

I am 90% sure I've used my OK+ gold to get into the AZ lounge in MXP before a flight to FCO, so I bet it's only enforced in N.America. Then again I don't think many lounge agents in the US will have encountered an OK+ card, so you might just get lucky. :D

I have traveled domestic in the US on Delta and been able to axcess crown room clubs at various places with my F+ Rouge status. This was NOT a domestic leg on an international ticket. Maybe I was lucky.

As a general rule, US-based carriers do not allow their own elites access to lounges when travelling on "domestic" (non-international) itineraries (their definition of domestic/non-international generally means flights within the US, between US and Canada, and between US and some Caribbean countries).

This restriction only applies to their own members (e.g. it would apply to DL SkyMiles & CO OnePass members, but it would not apply to OK Plus or AF F+ members).

The same rule is also applicable for the *A and OneWorld lounge access...

This is not correct. The alliances have different rules. What you describe is true for *A and OW for not ST. The official ST policy is not to grant access unless you have an international ticket for the same day. Now, YMMV and some agents will let you in if you have a non US card, but this is not official policy.

Does anyone know if OK+ is open to US residents? It seem like OK+ miles don't have any expiration (unless I miss it) and at the Gold level, it qualifies one for Elite Plus benefits (ie: lounge access). I have been looking for a ST program to do status match with, and it seems like OK+ would be a good one. Does anyone have experience with matching status with OK+? Thanks in advance.

Hello!
Could you please tell me if flying bussiness class with Aeromexico using an award ticket will allow me to use the arrivals lounge in CDG? My Aeromexico flight arrives at terminal 2E and the arrivals lounge is located at terminal 2C. I will have 5 hours to kill before my next flight to zurich(coach) and i will need for sure some relaxed time betwen flights. My AM flight arrives at 8.30 am into Paris.
Please advise if you know anything about it.

Hi!

Was wondering if anyone knows over the facilities available for lounge used after arrival from AF with E+ status? A shower after such a long flight would be nice..

If I am not mistaken, I read that there are no more Skyteam lounges anymore in SIN after the transfer of AF from T2 to T1.

Yes OK Plus membership is available to people residing in the USA. I have an account, but no miles in it, since I post all my OK flights to Delta SM account. I am 99.9% sure miles expire.

What is "International" for Elite Plus lounge access?
 

So here's a follow-up question:

What counts as "international" for elite plus lounge access?

Would a ticket from the US to Canada or Mexico count? US airlines treat these as domestic destinations in terms of mileage and upgrades, but they are international in terms of customs and immigration. I'd assume that Skyteam would have a definition but I couldn't find it.

Any experiences?

I was travelling on a delta award ticket in Y from JFK to MEX and was granted acess to the crown room club at JFK when I showed my F+ Rouge card, I was also able to invite a guest. (I think this was like three years ago)

On Continental, when traveling from the USA to anywhere execpt Canada/PR/Carrebiean, they will offer you Lounge Access with an economy ticket and Platinum/STE+.

You can get access when traveling to Canada usually with some sweet talking to the lounge matron.

Lucky. Last year I was denied access to AZ lounge in MXP while on a looooong layover from the US to another country (on an award ticket from DL, but about to board an AZ flight). I had a CRC membership card, but the AZ lounge concierge (a not-too-polite woman) seemed just incredulous that I'd expect them to let me in. I was GM at the time, I believe.
