Rules for operational upgrade on ST flights

As a Fréquence Plus Red member, I was upgraded several times on AF flight.

Though, I wonder what are the odds for operational upgrades on a another ST carrier flight.

Are the all ST Elite Plus equal when it comes to ops upgrade ? Do the carrier favour its own elite regardless of ST level ?

Thanks for your answers !

Own elites usually come first. (Same usually applies for AF - F+ first, then other airlines)

Yep, and don't forget that an airline's own elites are often entitled to space-available u/gs!

It's been my experience that while there may be rules regarding this on any and every carrier, they are often thrown out the window in an oversold/op-up situation.

That said, MissBumpMe! and I are hoping for some op-ups on an upcoming RTW trip!!!!
...and not just by chance, either!

While not entirely standard practice, this used to be reasonably common on KLM. Which ST members still do this?

We're not going to let them go looking for us on the list of FQTVs.
We'll graciously present ourselves & ST E+ status.
...then we'll begin begging! :D
(We'll take turns!)
