Priority baggage handling at Sky Team

Hi all,

I was reading in both sites, skyteam.com and klm.com, the benefits of flying blue silver (sky team elite) and I'm puzzled.
In klm.com silver benefits we have:
Priority baggage handling

Your check-in baggage will be given a special baggage tag to show that you are a SkyTeam Elite member, so that your bags are delivered quickly to the baggage-claim area.
http://www.klm.com/travel/es_en/flyi...rlines.htm#p11

And by other side at the comparison chart skyteam.com, Elite members have NO priority baggage handling.
http://www.skyteam.com/about/miles/benefits.html

So, what can I expect at the airport?
Thanks!

I`ve been refused this several times, both as Silver and Gold (Elite+), when flying both AF/KL from OSL and LAX. The CAs claiming it`s exclusively for Plats (?!). Hopefully just inexperienced CAs... But I wouldn`t bother to mutch, compared to *A the priority handling isn`t very reliable.

I have been given a priority tag every time when flying star alliance.
But it doesn't work anyhow to be honest, in most cases the luggage arrives at random together with the non priority tagged luggage.

Since I made DL Silver, I got everytime the priority tag when flying AFKL even from outside Europe. And except after an AMS-CDG flight, my bag arrived in the first ones.

2/3 of the time it arrives almost as last with the tag, maybe because I'm flying mostly with connecting flights.

Found priority tags quite hit and miss! Once travelling BHX - FCO, KLM even forgot to my bags on board, even with an adequate stop over!

It usually works fine with DL, bags do indeed come faster. Hit and miss with AF/KL and denied lately by OK (I didn't insist, so I don't know if it's just that one agent or OK policy)

I got the priority tags when flying KL and CZ, and my bags were one of the first to get onto the carousel. Strangely enough, RO offers priority baggage handling to SkyTeam elites, but my bag hasn't been tagged on both my flights with them.
