[MOVED]Beginner looking for help
 

Hello, Found the web site from an article in travel and leisure. I use Delta Amex card to get medallion miles, just made Platinum. I live in Atlanta so Delta is direct. Can someone give me a start in understanding how an alliance works? I know Delta does not count there million miler status with miles accumulated through spending just actual flown miles. Their program seems limited. I need to get more sophisticated in understanding other programs other than Delta. Thanks!

American Airlines is the only program anywhere I'm aware of which counts all miles not just flying miles towards million miler status.
