Bringing a vape on a connection through SIN
I'm really struggling to find information about this. If you have a simple connection through SIN (land from one country, stay in the lounge, depart to another country), can you have a nicotine vape on your person (it would obviously not be used in the airport)?
I know you can't enter the country with one. I know you can't use one. But even SQ's website seems to suggest they're okay in carry-on. And that would be odd for them to say if their one hub didn't allow them in transit.

Given that a dude was actively vaping in the J cabin on our recent SQ flight SIN-DPS, I'd say you're probably okay.
The FAs caught him in the act repeatedly and nonetheless let him walk off the aircraft without a LE greeting.
