Lounge access SQ /TR codeshare?
Flying SQ Europe to SE-Asia in C. Last leg is SQ codeshare operated by TR (Scoot) but SQ flight number.
Books into PE-class on TR leg it seems.
Any idea if I can access SQ lounge in SIN when in transit - or is another lounge available for a shower?
happy for any help
Cheers

You will have lounge access at Changi, as long as it's an SQ flight number, codeshare with Scoot notwithstanding.
Do note however that Scoot doesn't have Premium Economy, it's either Economy or ScootBiz (essentially a better seat with a complimentary meal, rather comparable to most full service airlines' premium economy). Believe if your SIN inbound flight is in C on the same PNR, your onward class from SIN should be ScootBiz.

Hmm, what is your destination on SE Asian that you take the TR flight for? For starters TR only offers ScootBiz on 787 aircraft, so if yours isn't one you definitely are in normal Eco.
If the flight is operated by a TR B787 then it depends on the fare class (fare bucket), but hopefully, if sold in conjunction with a SQ Biz flight it would book you into ScootBiz.

Hello together,
we have a similar case, but since our conditions are a bit different I wanted to ask for your advice/expertise.
We are flying from Munich via Singapore to Bali in July and have booked Business Class. What we have seen only after booking is that the flight segment from Singapore to Bali DPS is with SCOOT and in economy, because, as we then learned from the hotline, this aircraft has only an economy cabin.
Now the question arises regarding SilverKris lounge access at our stopover in Singapore.
The booking confirmation is unfortunately misleading, there is clearly "BUSINESS" in the status but also "Cabin class: Economy" (see 1st screenshot from the booking confirmation Email). But the "Manage your booking" page on Singaporeairlines.com (see 2nd screenshot) is showing "Economy (M)"... But this leg has also an SQ flight number (SQ 8548 and is a code sharing flight with Scoot).
What is still important: Also on the Scoot flight we have 40kg free baggage allowance (as with the business class flights to and from Munich) and we could also choose a meal free of charge with Scoot.
We are really confused... Has anyone ever had a similar constellation and can tell us whether we can in Singapore in the KrisFlyer lounge?
Kind regards,
Christian

If I am not wrong, access to SKL or KF Gold Lounge is only if you are departing on an SIA or Star Alliance operated flight (or one of those SQ partners like Virgin) with travel on appropriate cabin class and/or with appropriate star gold or PPS status.
Scoot does not fall into either category so even if you are booked in J on the long haul but connecting in Scoot in economy or even ScootBiz, you do not get access to either lounge in Changi even if u have PPS or Star Gold status.
can see summary of access here: https://milelion.com/2022/07/02/sing...-guest-policy/

Can reconfirm above post.....
If coming from SQ Business connecting onwards on 1 ticket with Scoot : No Access SKL.
The SKL Business lounge departures board therefore lists no Scoot (TR) flights
Also no KFG lounge access:

Please note that lounge entitlements accorded at each airport are based on your immediate departing Singapore Airlines or Star Alliance flights. Click here for more information on lounge access, including guest entitlements, based on your class of travel as well as your KrisFlyer membership and Star Alliance status. Click here for more information on Star Alliance lounge access policy.
For customers on codeshare flights, lounge access would depend on the rules of the airline operating your flight.
Please be informed that customers travelling on Scoot flights are not eligible to access the lounges.
I implore readers to be aware when booking flights and selecting:
: SQ flight number 4 digits XXXX : operated by Scoot or other airline partner
: SQ flight number 3 digits or less XXX : operated by Singapore Airlines themselves

Wow, what an utter shite policy. Are there other airlines that base class of service lounge access solely on the departing flight? Going to/from DPS seems often the Scoot flight has better timings than SQ-operated, so you not only have to pay (slightly) more, but waste more time. Don't think for a second I won't, um, maximize, my time in the lounge on the longer layover. Maybe some scotch tastings?

some airlines may have special carveouts for their own elites (or arriving in F/J in their plane but not if arriving F/J in other *A planes)
(eg SQ allows SQ J/F/SolatirePPS arrival access to SilverKris
https://www.singaporeair.com/saar5/p...nge-Access.pdf
UA Polaris J allows arrival access to airside Polaris Lounge (only if you can stay/re-enter airside)
UA UnitedGold allows arrival access to airside UnitedClub lounge (only if you can stay/re-enter airside)
https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...es/access.html
LH has arrival lounge access for LH F, LH HONCircle/senator (only if you can stay airside) https://www.lufthansa.com/se/en/arrival-services
some airlines operate arrival lounges (landside) with their specific rules (not covered under *alliance rules)
UA has arrival lounge at LHR only for UA J
NH has arrival lounge at NRT/HND only of NH F and certain NH elites - https://www.ana.co.jp/en/us/travel-i...arrival-lounge

i guess the issue here = you can purchase a single itinerary with SQ + Scoot (b/c SQ doesnt serve your final destination), and no lounge access when transiting SIN
LH/LX have Edelweiss, similar problem (but LH/LX have carve outs for their own elites + J but not *G). and technically its still based on your departure flight, nots ure if you can get a long-haul J on LH connecting to Y on Edelweiss
UA has UnitedExpress but its treated the same as mainline UA (in terms of lounge access / mileage accural)
NH has AirJapan(NQ) which flies shorter routes like SIN-NRT but its treated same as UnitedExpress above.
however, they're introducing AIrJapan (proper budget airline), so unsre what happens. NH does have Peach but dont think you can buy a single ticket with both NH + Peach?
