Ride Report: 2006 Pontiac Montana (Chevy Uplander, others)

NOTE: This is the same basic vehicle as the following:
-- Buick Terraza
-- Chevy Uplander
-- Saturn Relay

Overall Grade = B

OVERVIEW: Rented this from YOW. It had 24K miles on it, but we picked this over the Caravan because it had more storage space in the rear. Dark Blue/Gray Cloth. It was a basic model, so no power sliding doors, etc. But it DID have a rear DVD player.

Everyday handing, everyday power, everyday styling. This is by no means a sports vehicle. But, it's a secure ride, albeit a boring one.

WHY PICK MONTANA+FM CLONES OVER CARAVAN?
-- More space for luggage.
-- 8-pax seating for most versions found in the fleet (ours was 7-pax)
-- Better fuel efficiency (slightly).
-- Newer body style.

FINAL IMPRESSION: Well, I don't drive minivans too much, but this was a good ride for being a people mover.

O Contrare, mon frere. Or however you spell that crap. They are NOT all the same.

Terraza has a better stereo package than the uplander and shiner hubcaps.
