Booking Open Jaw Ticket on UA website?
Is there a way to book an open jaw ticket on the UA web site? I heard about the surcharge they're about to start charging to book through an agent. I have no problem with that, but they should have the tools to allow you to book any ticket electronically if that's what they're trying to encourage.

What's amazing to me is the fares: they're generally very good.

Is it possible to stop an award ticket with a stop over too? I called UA yesterday and the agent told me that it can be done, she said "just follow the instructions." Well, I tried, I don't know how and couldn't find any instruction. I want to book SEA-SFO-HNL with a stop over in SFO. BTW, how long can I stay at SFO? I remeber someone said 24 hours, is it true? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would call the awards desk to book the trip before Oct. 15 (when the $15 fee kicks in). You should be able to book a SEA-SFO-HNL award with a stopover in SFO of whatever length you choose.
Award rules here (last bullet).
