THAI Fleet Updates
Hi everyone!
I've generally been posting fleet updates in the THAI News page but thinking that with so many changes happening to the airline's fleet both this year and in the coming year, it should have its own thread. I'll update this often as soon as there are any updates but of course, please feel free to contribute!

Aircraft expected to be leaving the fleet in 2026:
Airbus A350-900s
HS-THQ and HS-THR are both expecting to have their leases end this year and will go to Edelweiss Air, as these two were always intended to be on a short term lease with THAI.
Boeing 777-200ER
HS-TJV and HS-TJW are the last 2 remaining 777-200ERs while they were expected to leave this year, this could be pushed back due to need for additional aircraft. Remains to be seen if they will finally be retired in 2026 or if they will stay on.
Boeing 787-8
HS-TQC and HS-TQD are both expected to leave the fleet this year as their leases end, both are expected to go to LOT Polish Airlines.

HS-TGT in Nong Khai
Nice work, thanks for the thread. Seems an appropriate spot for the departed aircraft?
Visited an old girlfriend last week in Nong Khai 😍
One of the TG 744s, in this case HS-TGT. Sad to see, and I certainly enjoyed flying these aircraft, especially quick trips BKK-CNX and BKK-HKT 20+ years ago

Yes, definitely a good spot to talk about the retired planes! I've had quite a few flights on TGT also, mainly CNX-BKK-CNX runs.
I live in Chiang Mai and recently went to do some shopping at a shopping complex out of the city, and had to do a double take when I saw this across the road, not the best picture but its formerly HS-TGY, the last time I flew on a THAI 744 was on TGY from BKK to MUC in 2018, so it was nice but bittersweet to see her parked here. Not sure what the plans are for her yet but I can guess that she'll most likely become a cafe.

2nd ex-CZ 787-8 arrives at DMK
The 2nd of 10 Boeing 787-8 from China Southern arrived at DMK this morning. B-2736, not known yet what Thai reg she will receive. I'm assuming this means that HS-TQH, is nearly ready with its repaint and cabin refits, having been in the hangar for around 6 weeks now.

Ex-CZ 787 update
The 2nd ex-CZ Boeing 787-8 that arrived a few days B-2736, has now been re-registered to HS-TQM, expected to be named "Sirisobhakaya", seems like TG are registering these planes chronologically to their Chinese registration orders.
