I like it. It's kind of lacking energy to me, but it's fine. Nothing will ever compare to the Virgin America one though. I've always liked Icelandair's too.

The "Safety Dance" video was AS-branded and it was a masterpiece.

Maybe it's being discussed somewhere else, but they just casually dropping Sydney into the video is very much a "wink wink" at everyone as to what route is next.

You mean 787-9 to SYD (from HNL) or new route SEA-SYD?

Well they already said they are bringing all the 787s to Seattle, so I would think it's hinting that it's gonna be SEA-SYD.

As an often forgotten about Alaskan, what stood out to me was the safety video featured clips from all over the world, but not one in Alaska.. ya know, the name of the actual airline?

Well seeing that the 787-9 aircraft only serve global destinations I would think it makes sense to feature those in the video?

Global destinations like the Seattle Monorail, Pike Place Market, Kraken rink, and library?

Yes, from SEA to [global destination] so those qualify. It's about whatever location the 787-9 aircraft is most likely to touch, which certainly includes SEA.

One Seattle location would suffice, just like
the rest of the destinations. Its a global airline that connects people to and from Seattle. I dont see a reason not to feature Hawaii and Alaska among other popular tourist destinations it serves. What about New Zealand, Iceland, Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico, or Canada? Seems like a missed opportunity.

Very well done flight safety video, no complaints here... Can't wait for those direct flights to SYD!

Wow...that felt so very.....Delta-ish and completely uninspiring. Some fun little sneak peaks throughout, but man, all this time and that's all they could come up with. The backgrounds aren't even realistic looking.
