More an evolution than a revolution.
Very, very, very disappointing for a product announced years in advance.

Interesting! Agreed with the comment above, this is more of an evolution and I was somehow expecting something more. I'm not sure I get the point of the chaise opposite the armchair. I guess it's also a little bit hard to assess how spacious it is without seeing it in person, 5 seats long + no more overhead luggage bins could make it feel pretty enormous.
Guess I timed my next La Premiere flight (this weekend) pretty poorly (still excited about it though!).

But it looks like there will still be four seats deployed.

Anyway, I thought the current seat is almost near to perfection, the added details (removal of overhead bins, separate seat to couch/bed, closet, longer suite - 5 windows instead of 4 windows now) while keeping the curtains is not bad.

That's massive. Looks substantially longer than e.g. Emirates Gamechanger first.

Not fully enclosed, but it does have floor to ceiling drapes. Personal preference? I'm not fussed about doors, but I am not target audience for this for sure.

There never was not going to be 4 seats, it was just some mistranslation/misinterpretation of a "3 spaces in one" kind of statement that gave rise to 3-in-row speculation.

Agreed. It looks very nice and per some other comments, it addresses many of the "faults" of an otherwise wonderful First Class seat. I look forward to having the opportunity to fly in this seat one of these days, but will not be disappointed if it's not on my next LP flight.

As an aside, are we are of any LP soft product announcements along side the new seat? New glassware, dishes, etc.? New bedding?

Based on a few pictures like this one, a Jacquemus partnership for pajamas/amenity kits?

What a nice video. Not sure if they were using a set, but the airplane she walks into is F-GZNE (Salon de Provence).
