Multi City Award difficulty

Unable to get AS website to process any MultiCity award requests.
I am aware of recent changes but this is off my radar.
I can find availability doing some oneways only.
Is there something I am missing, due to AS joining OneWorld etc ?
Thx

Are you booking Partner awards, AS awards or a combination of both? Is there a stopover involved? International or Domestic? If you can provide more details on what you are looking for it would be easier to assist.

Thx for reply.
PDX - LHR - LAS - PDX
or
PDX - AMS - LAS - PDX

Using AS Mileage on AS.com
I exclude BA and Aer Lingus and target AA Saver awards
Approx date ranges - Oct 15 Out - Nov 20 Rtn

What you are looking for is 2 awards. PDX-AMS/LHR & AMS/LHR-LAS-PDX.

Multi-city awards will work for your return award but not for your desired itinerary. It appears you want to stopover in Vegas before heading home to PDX. AS awards allow for a stopover in the gateway city, either at the international gateway or at the US arrival destination. That aside, your issue is that AA doesn't fly non-stop LHR/AMS to/from LAS so you can't use LAS as a stopover point.

You could fly LHR-SEA/DFW/LAX-LAS for example with or without a stopover in SEA/DFW/LAX but you can't fly LHR-SEA/LAX-LAS/stopover/LAS-PDX on one award.

The best alternative may be to fly to LAS on the award and then pick up a cheap AS LAS-PDX revenue flight.

Great info thanks....
OK forget AMS - (I could do a nested rev fare LHR - AMS - LHR)

But I am still unable to get return LHR - LAS (like I always used to be able to) on the same award itinerary.

(YES I would get a separate Delta mile OW LAS - PDX. to get me to home base)
Thanks!

Well, this isn't a multi-city, it's (2) one-way awards. Is there something else you're not telling us here?

2 x 1 way awards?
PDX - LHR - LAS
I am perplexed. I've done this as Multi city for years until now.

I'm beyond perplexed. You said above the return is LHR-LAS.

Are you saying you've booked a PDX-LAS award with a stopover in LHR before?

I think there is some deep misunderstanding going on here.

Are you telling me that PDX - LHR - LAS is NOT a MultiCity itinerary..?
If so, then what is a multicity itinerary?

Are you adding LHR-LAS as the connecting flight when using multi-city, or the return flight? You have to enter it as the return flight of course. I had no troubles getting PDX-LHR-LAS to work...

It has always been "COONECTING" up to 4 city pairs. You may end up with more than 4 segments if there isn't a non-stop option and [a] connection(s) is/are required. It doesn't have to be contiguous either. You can include open jaws.
