Cheap international award tickets

Not sure if there was a mistake or a recent sale, but while booking spring break to Spain and a may trip to Paris I found some really cheap award tickets. I got 4 tickets to Barcelona at 17k one way each at the end of March and 2 tickets the first week of May to Paris at 18k one way 21k return. Just thought I'd let everyone know in case anyone is looking for deals.

I noticed after doing the screen shots but the deal is from both for cheap tickets.

Huh, BCN-USA does price at 13500 in XN (31 March) and I also see 15500 (mid-May). It's very dynamic.

Very very dynamic - and very beneficial if you were planning a trip to Spain (as I was). These rates were not there yesterday.

There have been lots of deals round trip USA-Barcelona or Madrid sub $300 lately. Look at secretflying.com It might be better to save your miles for more expensive routes.

Well, it's still nice to see that UA is dynamically adjusting required award miles downward as well, not only upward.
A return trip USA-Spain for ~30000 miles is pretty good. ^

The key benefit here is for one way travel -- if you already have some journey from USA to Europe, getting a one way westbound tatl with the flexibility of XN can be a better deal than booking a $250 basic economy round trip BCN-USA.

Wow, that's a big message to all the skeptics in the dynamic pricing thread who said prices would only go up not down.

Oh wow, it's very, very dynamic. On 14 May 2019 BCN-EWR-BOS is:

13500 miles per pax for 2 pax (booked into XN -- 2 adults)
13500 miles per pax for 3 pax (booked into XN -- 2 adults, 1 child aged 2-4)
13500 miles per pax for 4 pax (booked into XN -- 2 adults, 2 children aged 2-4)
15500 miles per pax for 4 pax (booked into XN -- 2 adults, 1 child aged 2-4, 1 infant in own seat)

Last week I got the Misses to Pepeete in Polaris for just 105,000 miles. I am starting to like the dynamic pricing, as it does seem to favor those of us who look at this stuff obsessively.
