BA56 Landing Gear Issue
Friend is on an A380 BA56 JNB-LHR.

landing gear won’t go up so they will be circling around Joburg shedding fuel for 3-4 hours until they land and try to fix it.
Been in the air for 2 hours already.

They plan to keep everyone on board and fly after it’s fixed.

Could well end up being 17-20 hours on that plane if not more!

3 to 4 hours of circling and then some time on the ground... how many hours till the crew are out of hours?

Looks like she's broken out of the loop, heading south towards Benoni and the aiport and descending on approach. 2h52m since departure.

Hope they served dinner at least!
