a330-200 or refitted 767-400 (Delta One)

Hi,

I'm flying to FLL from LHR next April, and have the option of routing via ATL on a 767-400 with the new configuration of business class, or via DTW on a a330-200.

I would be really grateful for opinions on which would be the better option.

Thanks in advance

ATL is longer -- if it also leaves later I would take that option to give more time for sleep (you'll be more tired too if it's later)

OP says it’s a westbound (i.e., daytime) trip, so “more time for sleep” is probably not a significant factor in the decision

Yeah I see that now flipped the to and from in my head.

Would still consider ATL for longer time in D1 seat (shorter flight ATL - FLL vs DTW - FLL).

In this case though departure time influences whether you get breakfast or lunch/dinner food at the VS Clubhouse in LHR

The A330 is the far superior seat in my opinion for comfort, width, and foot rest.

But the ATL flight, as everyone else pointed out already, is a better split of business vs. domestic first. And some ATL-FLL flights are wide body which might mean D1 service on both legs.
