Europe Travel Question

We are doing a multi city trip and had some questions
CHS - LHR
LHR - CDG
CDG-LHR-CPH
CPH-LHR-CHS

for the last two legs will we have to go through security again in LHR?

Yes, you will (assuming you mean for both CDG-LHR-CPH and CPH-LHR-CHS).

This applies at LHR regardless of airline(s) flown.

If you’re connecting at LHR, you will need to re-clear security.

The only exception is if you if you arrive at T5 from another UK airport and and are connecting to T5.

Anyone know if BHD arrivals at T2 need to re-clear?

That's not the only domestic T2 service, but they too get direct access to airside again.

Question - why are you flying CDG-LHR-CPH?

Also did you consider the Eurostar instead of your LHR-CDG? It's much nicer.

if the next flight is within t2 then no but if they transfer to another terminal then yes when they arrive at the new terminal

Yes you will need to reclear security, but security on that side of things has never been long for me. 10 Minutes max, as there are special security for those transfering flights so you are avoiding the main entrance lines.
