Singapore Do Jan 16-18, 2009

The 1st long weekend in January is usually set as Official Singapore Flyertalk Doo & Mileage Run. Next year, 2009, the long weekend is Friday January 16th to Monday January 18th.

Last years Doo was full of new ideas, new places, and familiar faces.

I invite all who once came, and those who never have, to venture forth to Singapore one more time to celebrate, get a jump on EQMs, & maybe burn expiring SWUs too.

I VERY much like your idea of EC Jumbo, given that it was such a close "second" in this year's balloting.

I will also be in attendance this year and am still working on the flights, but will most likely be taking the EWR-SIN this year and arriving on Friday and staying til Monday.

I'm in. Ticketed and upgraded - got a good price that I'm sure won't last. Will look at adding a side trip or 2 (thinking Penang for the architecture and/or Phuket for elephants, gibbons, and Thai kickboxing), since I'll be arriving the 12th and not departing until the 20th.

i'm in! very much enjoyed sin-doo 2008 and the flyertalkers i met--what a great crew, and as a travel geek enjoyed having 20,000 miles in my ua account early in the year.

okay, and i liked the crab, the shopping and the asia-lite experience.
