How Long for Mexicana Flights to Post to AA? (obsolete)

Took a couple of eligible (I think) MX flights over a week ago, and they haven't posted yet. Any experiences with this? The flights were straight MX, ie, not AA codeshares. Thanks for any input.

I took a number of flights on Mexicana and Click! Mexicana, and they seemed to take 2-3 weeks to post, max. Merely redeemable miles, of course, but I'll take 'em all if I earn them.

Can anoyone recommend a course of action? My outbound flight BWI-MEX posted no problem, only about 2 weeks after. The return, however, has not posted yet. I've sent AAdv a request for credit twice, but so far no luck. Any advice on what to do next?

Did you read the first post? Or the partners section of AA.com? Anything? Bueller? Bueller?

It would have answered the OP's question as well.

Fly Mexicana or Click! Mexicana, give them your AAdvantage number, it will probably post within a week or two - but possibly not. These are redeemable, not EQ miles, of course, but they all count, or we wouldn't be here . IMO, the easiest is to photocopy and use snailmail, lean back and relax... salud!

I realize that this post is pretty old, so it may be updated lately, but you do earn EQMs when you fly on Mexicana on AA codeshare tix:

Elite Status Qualification
You can earn elite-qualifying miles, segments, and points that count toward AAdvantage Gold, AAdvantage Platinum and AAdvantage Executive Platinum status on American Airlines codeshare flights operated by Mexicana when your ticket reflects an "AA" coded flight number. View more information about elite status.

That said, it has been almost 4 weeks and nada of the ORD-MEX-ORD flights hasn't posted

If the flight is AA flight number, you earn as though you were on AA metal (EQM/RDM - the whole bit). I cannot address how long it takes for the miles to post.

If, however, your flight was MX-coded... you will earn the applicable RDM miles, based on the chart here:
http://www.aa.com/aa/i18nForward.do?...s/mexicana.jsp

That said, that same chart says to allow up to 30 days for posting. I'd give it another week if you don't see anything in your account by then.

Exactly. AA and UA has abandoned ORD-MEX so Mexicana is the only option that earns miles.

It has been a month on Monday and the miles has still not posted. I guess retro claim is needed..

Amended post with Moderator note:

Please do not post further in this thread, which has been split off from the original thread, as much of the information is obsolete - Mexicana is now part of oneworld, and the appropriate thread to post questions or experiences with MX flights posting to American AAdvantage is this one.
