Question on zeroed out flight
Hello all,
I am looking at LH1430 (FRA-SOF) on 25 March and it is fully zeroed out. As it is currently scheduled to be A319 and I see today is A321 do you think there may be equipment swap and space may open or is it advisable to book Plan B as soon as possible?
Thank you in advance.
PS: Already scheduled EF alerts in case space opens or aircraft type changes 😃

No idea about this specific flight but potentially all LH flights next week will be zeroed out because of the potential strike of ground staff.
If you really need to be there, you may consider as well a Plan B on a different airline! Alternatively, you can book the earlier flight on a flexible rate as well, depending on your possibilities.

I have flights with LH, connection in MUC in the weekend, so far, they shows as confirmed, and "on time".

your best chance is exactly the EF alert. Whether it is a change within the family of planes or simply re-bookings closer to departure, availability will change dynamically. I have been able to get seats on many zeroed out flights when suddenly J1 or Y1 became available

I only wanted to warn you that LH may strike next week - since it looks like you really need to be on this specific flight. So if you want to look for an alternative, you may prioritize alternatives on non-LH flights. That's all I wanted to say.

At the end we decided to go for next day in M fare bucket.
Last time I was in D and on the day of travel they switched again from A319 to A321 and suddenly there was P9 😃
This time it is better to play safe
