Thatd be a nice little perk, no doubt. But if you ask me, Alaskas the kind of outfit that rolls out a CK level quietlyinvite only, the kind of thing you dont ask for you get the call when they think youve earned it.

Now maybe they dress it up with a name like Consigliere. Has a nice ring to it. The trusted elite, the one whos been flying the airline long enough to sit close to the pointy end of the airplane. Yeah I could see that working.

That's why I said "most", not "all". HA823 primarily departs N14, but yes, there are exceptions.

Correct me if I'm wrong, please, but my understanding is international flights can depart from most anywhere at SEA, but they must arrive at the S satellite because that's where US Customs is located.

Correct, unless CBP pre-cleared before departure.

The international arrivals facility is in A, not S. I believe there are also A gates that can be used for international arrivals. Not sure if they are primarily used by Delta; I have always arrived in S.

Ok, got it. I've flown international many times from SeaTac, never left from N. I guess they land at the international arrivals in S or A and tow it around to make space.

Yes, and that is what AA did when it flew SEA-LHR.

There are A gates that are dual-purpose and can be used for international arrivals as well. The south satellite used to be where customs was, but the new-ish International Arrivals Facility is its own separate thing.

Off the top of my head, I don't think so. I don't think there's a place to bus passengers to that provides a path into the IAF.

Bus gates are always better than sitting on the plane waiting for a gate...

I've taken AA's SEALHR service 4x and 2x from N Gates and 2x from S Gates. No rhyme or reason to it.

I was trying to figure out where they'd get in. Guess they'd park at S and walk up stairs? (not a real answer)

Anyway... back on topic.

There better be a bank of showers.
