Basics about the evoucher:
Number of eVouchers needed per segment:
- Upgrade a shorthaul segment = 1 eVoucher
- Upgrade a longhaul segment (Longhaul= LH400-799)
- From Economy Class (other than K, L, T) to Business Class = 2 eVouchers
- From Economy Class K, L, T to Business Class = 3 eVouchers
- From Economy Class (other than K, L, T) to Premium Economy Class = 1 eVoucher
- From Economy Class K, L, T to Premium Economy Class = 2 eVouchers
- From Premium Economy G, E to Business Class = 1 eVoucher
- From Premium Economy N to Business Class = 2 eVouchers
- From Business Class to First Class = 2 eVouchers
Upgrade awards may be booked online with LH, OS, LX, SN, LO and Discover, or you can call to upgrade.
Alternatively, you can book at the check-in counter. Not all airlines offer immediate upgrades at the airport.
Evouchers can be used on any ticketed PNR, even if the flight operates after the date of expiry of the evoucher but only if the upgrade clears any waitlist before the expiry date.
Evouchers can be redeemed with all Star Alliance partners - depending on the destination, airline, travel class and booking class.
For a list of award regions go to https://www.miles-and-more.com/row/e...formation.html and scroll down to select Your worldwide flight destinations with Miles & More.
How long do eVouchers remain valid?
- All eVouchers are valid for 24 months.
- none of your eVouchers will expire until 31.03.2024. This also applies to eVouchers that were re-credited after the cancellation of a flight.
With an eVoucher, you travel one class higher [link to general eVoucher information]

Hi,
I have a couple of e vouchers expiring at the end of the month and 8 European flights coming between April and June, and the system tells me that not of the flights are upgradeable with e vouchers??
Would it make any difference contacting the Sen line?
Over the years, it was not easy, but I remember burning all the e vouchers from Biz to F long haul, but now are not even usable for 2 hours flights??
Thanks,

Voucher to upgrade from C to F
hello
i have two vouchers sitting in my MM account and I'm booked in C from FRA to SFO for may - how can I use the vouchers to upgrade to F?
I tried to do that from the website and the app but it seems the system is broken.
should I call the Senator Hotline?

I have one question about using miles and evouchers. If I managed to upgrade a flight operated by LHG and 220-stock ticket using miles and only subsequently receive evouchers, would M&M agree to refund the miles and apply the evouchers instead for the same upgrade. My last experience on this is from 2018 when I managed to do it as SEN, but I imagine such flexibility of M&M might be long gone by now.

Mileage & evoucher upgrades can be reversed, but you need the original fare booking class to be available to from I/O to whatever you have earlier.

my question was actually if the agree to a direct swap of miles to evouchers. If I ask for a refund and a new upgrade with evouchers, there is a chance that I end up on WL and never get it, especially for J to F.
