Since this is not the 1st, I wonder how long before she's put into service?

I would expect it to be flying within the next 2-3 weeks as it usually takes some time for all the documentation to be sorted once arriving in Thailand. Most new planes arriving into the TG fleet are in service around 3 weeks after delivery.

are there any service enhancements to be expected? I was hoping for maybe free messaging or other similar things to make it more competitive with SQ, CX or other competitors.

if I recall TG gives a free wifi voucher to biz pax, but with a very modest data allowance.

Some times I do think people should undergo a test of mental capacity and common sense to be able to access the internet

Australia has become quite the hot spot for events and marches supporting one side of the conflict. Particularly Sydney in my experience. So I am not surprised that this would blow up to become a social media incident once the story got out. Whether it is something that in reality will effect booking levels on Thai Airways is more questionable. People are usually a lot less effective at acting on boycotts than they are at supporting them online.

And to add to that, the people advocating (and buying into) this are probably unlikely to be TG's target customer segment anyway...

TG's operation not affected by the war in middle east

‘Thai Airways’ adjusts flight routes amid Middle East tensions

lucky all those Europeans/Thais, who fly directly between Europe and Thailand and not with the 3 major middle east carriers

TG must be laughing all the way to the bank. Flights to Europe transiting through the Middle East are blocked, TGs direct flights are full, pax have no choice except to pay TGs higher fares. Other legacy airlines, like CX, are raising their prices as well. The Covid and bankruptcy days are but a distant memory. ✈️

actually all major Middle East Airlines are flying again but with reduced numbers of flights and some destinations dropped
and yes...many other airlines benefit, but I guess overall it could reduce tourist numbers from Europe and Middle East in Thailand for this year significantly...

Hard to know. Certainly Asian carriers will get a boost in pax that want to avoid the ME; Europe to Sth/SE and East Asia, and Europe to Australia/NZ.

If the airspace situation worsens, then that be quite a problem in terms routing (further), fuel (more required), costs (higher again).
