I am actually not sure what it is you are buying other than a flight in a wide body on a narrow body route. It is also reasonably short notice.

And shall we talk about the limited‑edition gadgets and souvenirs that will be sold on board at ten times their normal price (only to reappear on eBay the next day at thirty times the price)? I have a sneaking suspicion that on 6 April these will become the most profitable flights in the entire LH network, and theyll sell out in no time.

For SENs, the prize is 348 EUR for either flight in Y (green), no other travel class available.
Certainly not a bargain for an intra-D oneway flight.
Selling these flights for 100 EUR would be appropriate, if giving them away for free for some of their most loyal customers is out of question...

Back then, passengers were invited and didn’t have to pay anything; in fact, a generous buffet was offered at the airport after the flight. I can still recall that the boarding pass for that flight bore the words “First Class,” even though the seating was extremely basic and the onboard service practically nonexistent.

The funny thing is that from Italy, a LH round‑trip flight to New York (via FRA or MUC) in April is being offered for just 308 euros.
